I like the BW process its seems to be a hybrid infrared. I have not decided if the mountains in the background help or hurt the image. I like the subtle texture in the sand it helps the bigger idea here, its not the traditional veining which sometimes can become overwhelming. I have been watching the snow build this evening time to time on the Duluth webcam - still a few brave souls out there.

Its good to have you back more regularly...
This time of year there is little wind and heavy foot traffic in the dunes.  We had to work hard to find untracked sand that still made a nice composition.  :-P</description>
