We’re into our second day of Digital Landscape 201 on the north shore and I couldn’t ask for a better group of folks.  We’re getting ready right now to go out and shoot on the Beaver River until sunset and then off to practice star trails.  I’m letting them sleep in tomorrow morning. :)

This morning at 4:15 am we got up and headed over to Silver Bay, MN.  Its a great place to shoot, but challenging, the challenge increased by severely clear skys.  That did not deter anyone in the group from getting some wonderful images.  A job well done, but these two (Marek and Mark) couldn’t quite agree on which way to shoot this morning!  They’ve been at each other all day about it, but amazingly both directions were excellent.

I'm eaten up with envy here, Alec. It's hot in the cities, so you picked a great time to ditch the maddening crowd. I hope you all come back with some great images!

Sleeping in this morning was welcomed. The entire experience has been magical.
Enjoying the north shore with Alec.
