Announcing Digital Landscape Photography 201 on the spectacular North Shore of Lake Superior, August 9 – 12, 2009. This course is designed for the intermediate/advanced photographer interested in developing fine art landscape photography skills. The ideal candidate is comfortable using a digital SLR camera in manual mode, with a solid grasp of aperture, ISO and shutter speed. You’ll find this course not only full of technical knowledge to take your photography to the next level, but you’ll leave it feeling more confident and inspired to create fine art photography.

Equipment Required: Digital SLR, tripod, laptop with image editing software (I’ll be only teaching Adobe Photoshop CS2/CS3/CS4 Techniques), cable release and any filters you wish to use. I’ll provide some filters, but don’t have enough to serve the entire class.

The majority (not all) of our classroom time is given to image critique and Photoshop techniques. We’ll spend equal amounts of time shooting big, wide open shoreline landscapes and river/waterfall landscapes.
